About this position
RKD is looking to hire an experienced Software Development Project Manager. This position will be responsible for building relationships with clients from a variety of industries and help move projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Gather and translate requirements between clients and design/development staff
- Assist in project cost estimating and resource planning
- Produce specification and/or wireframe documentation
- Prioritize and organize timelines and deliverables
- Coordinate between design and development resources; assist with quality assurance
- Manage multiple projects at once, of varying sizes and stages of development life cycle
- Manage expectations both internally and externally
Essential skills
- 5 years in a software development and design setting
- 3 years project management experience
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Must be a team player that can work independently and take direction from others
- A solid understanding of web design/development standards and usability
- Experience in working with large/complex projects and high-value clients
- Self-starter who goes the extra step in making sure a project gets launched
- Great attention to detail and be highly organized
- Ability to pivot quickly. This place moves fast!
- Web agency experience a strong asset.

- Hours of work: 8:30am – 4:30pm
